“Industrial Management Challenges in the Society 5.0″

Dear (candidate) Fellows of the European Academy for Industrial Management (AIM),

We are delighted to announce the 48th AIM Conference 2026, hosted by the University of Málaga, Spain, from 10 to 13 September 2026. The event will take place in the vibrant city of Málaga, offering a stimulating academic program and an engaging social agenda. This year’s conference continues AIM’s tradition of fostering critical dialogue and collaboration among distinguished scholars in industrial management across Europe.
The conference venue is at Campus de Teatinos, Escuela de Ingenierías Industriales, University of Málaga, which can easily be reached by public transport (metro and bus) from Málaga.

The motto of the conference is “Industrial Management Challenges in the context of
Society 5.0”. For the scientific program, we warmly invite contributions from AIM fellows that explore challenges and/or recent advances in research on industrial management as well as in teaching and learning within the field. Participants are invited to send their proposals (title, contributors, short abstract max 600 words) to: AIMconference@europe aim.eu. The scientific programme includes different kinds of participation:

  1. Poster session (peer reviewed, research, education)
  2. Conference presentation (peer reviewed paper, research, education)

The title and contributors of presentations will be published in the program and announced on the conference website. Submission of a conference paper or poster for peer review is encouraged but not required. After submission and review, they will be published online either in the members-only AIM section at the website or, at the author’s discretion, for public access.

Important Dates
15th February 2026: Deadline for proposals for conference presentations and posters
1st April 2026: Draft program available (including accepted presentations) and registration opens
