Erasmus Plus Project – Knowledge Alliance ‘ Industrial Engineering and Management Higher Education’ – IE3

  • IE3 project: funded by the Knowledge Alliance action of the Erasmus Plus program
  • Budget of more than 800+k€ for three years (2019 – 2023).
  • Ranked in the top 10% of KA projects across Europe.
Goals:

Renewing Higher Education of Industrial Engineering and Management programs (Master Level) to meet knowledge needs of European companies in implementing Industry 4.0 paradigm, by:

  • European Gap Analysis between offer of Higher Education (HE) in Industrial Engineering and Management (IE&M) (Master level)
  • Setting up Guidelines for renewing HE programs in IE&M
  • Producing e-learning modules to be disseminated and adopted in IE&M programs throughout Europe

Тhe final Dissemination Conference of the Erasmus Plus Project – Knowledge Alliance ‘Higher Education in Industrial Engineering and Management’ was held at Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy on 2nd February 2023.

The new project „Experimental Learning in industrial Management“ got introduced by Professor Deuse at the AIM Conference 2012 in Budapest. Due to the positive response a first meeting at the Technical University Dortmund was arranged in January 2013. The meeting was held on the 10th of January 2013.
