The AIM Conference in september 2020 in Berlin is scheduled to take place as planned. This was decided by the Board, after extensive and careful evaluation with the organizing committee, of the current and anticipated situation in Berlin, and the travel situation within Europe. The conference program and venue will be organized to ensure total safety and adherence to all regulations that will be in effect at the time of the meeting. The hotel has also ensured that they will be able to host the conference within these safety guidelines.
So we welcome all of you who registered in Berlin, on 3 – 6 september 2020.
Of course, no one knows how the covid-19 situation will evolve between now and september, and with it the possible restrictions. We will respond to any changes as fast as possible, but barring a new lockdown we do not expect that we will have to postpone the event. Any delegate who needs to cancel his registration should inform us immediately. We will reimburse the conference fee, minus possible costs that are already committed at that time. Any cancellations with the hotel is to be handled directly by the delegate as AIM does not handle hotel bookings.
